TRANSPARENTLY COLORFUL ART
The Hidalgo Watercolor Society (HWS) will open its annual exhibition with a reception on Sat. January 13 from 7-9 p.m at the Kika de la Garza Fine arts Center, 921 E. 12th St. in Mission. All artwork, in the exhibit, will be original watercolor paintings created by the HWS’s members.
The exhibition runs through Feb. 3, and is free and open to the public. The gallery is open Tues-Sat 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please call to confirm hours. HWS operates under the auspices of the Upper Valley Art League which is a membership-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to teaching, preserving and inspiring the arts in the RGV.
