$5 Jewelry Sale, Monday-Wednesday, Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. Benefits the Renaissance Cancer Foundation. Monday-Tuesday: 7am-7pm, Wednesday: 7am-4pm.

RGV Vipers vs Salt Lake City Stars, Monday & Wednesday 7pm, State Farm Arena (Hidalgo). The Vipers close out the regular season with 3 games this week as they try to make the playoffs.

Kantaris Crypto Meetup, Tuesday 7pm, Arts District Business Center. “The Cryptocurrency Revolution is here and it is all about FREEDOM! If you are looking for answers or want to know more about this innovative new technology and how you could potentially find financial freedom through it, join us.”

Cali Hardcore, Tuesday 8:30pm, Yerberia Cultura. California touring bands Drain, Earth Down and Younglove come to town with local guests Reinforce, Worst Behavior and Scab. $5, all ages.

Arbitrary Dreams by Briana Garza Art Exhibit, Wednesday 5:30-8pm, Espresso Cup Cafe (Edinburg). This new Edinburg coffee shop aims to become a destination for local artists to feature their works. Local artist Briana Garza’s exhibit will be on display March 3-31. Opening reception on March 23rd.

A Celebration of Music, Wednesday 6:30pm, McAllen Performing Arts Center. The McAllen Wind Ensemble performs the music of Galante, Sousa, John Williams and more. Tickets start at $8.

Chivas vs Club Santos, Wednesday 8pm, H-E-B Park (Edinburg). Liga MX action returns to Edinburg. Tickets start at $45.

Taste McAllen 2018, Thursday 7-10pm, McAllen Convention Center Oval Park. Restaurants from across the Valley sample their best dishes, plus live cooking demonstrations and more. Tickets start at $50.

The Frights (San Diego, CA), Thursday 8pm, Yerberia Cultura. All ages show. Tickets $8/$10 online.

Alicia Villarreal, Thursday 8:30pm, State Farm Arena. Tickets start at $35 plus fees.

28th Annual Home & Garden Show, Friday-Suday, McAllen Convention Center. Hours: Friday 2-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 11am-5pm. Tickets $8 plus fees.

Jazz, Art & Wine Festival, Friday 7-11pm, Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. (Rescheduled from January.) Proceeds benefit Hope Family Health Center.

UTRGV Baseball WAC Opener, Friday 7pm, UTRGV Baseball Stadium. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive free UTRGV baseball car magnets.

Bunny Dash, Saturday 8-10am, Edinburg Municipal Park. 5k brought to you by the Edinburg Housing Association. $15 for the full 5k, $5 for the half mile “bunny hop”.

Walkerz Against Diabetes 5K, Saturday 8am, Westside Park. Benefit for the RGV Diabetes Association. $25 per person.

Texas Onion Fest, Saturday 9am-10:30pm, Mayor Pablo Pena City Park (Weslaco). The annual festival returns with the Onion Eating Contest, live music headlined by Lucky Joe and Buck N Crazy, food, vendors, kiddie rides and much more. Tickets: $6 for adults, $4 for kids 3-12.

United Collectors Expo, Saturday 10am-5pm, Edinburg Activity Center. Comics, toys, games, cosplay, music, door prizes and more. Admission: $2 (12 and under free).

Pre-Production Design Workshop, Saturday 11am-3pm, Sekula Memorial Library (Edinburg). Free filmmaking workshops, “Film Sound Design” and “Writing with Sound and Light” presented by the South Texas International Film Festival.

Underwater Egg Hunt, Saturday 12:30-2:30pm, McAllen Municipal Pool. Easter-themed fun comes to the pool.

956 R/C Round-Up, Saturday 2-7pm, Edinburg Motorsports Park. Bring your drones, RC racers and more to this family-friendly competition. Kids 12 and under free.

2nd Annual Ales & Tails Fest, Saturday 3-7pm, Harlingen Arts & Heritage Museum. Tickets $35 in advance, $45 at the event.

UTRGV Baseball Friends & Family Night, Saturday 6pm, UTRGV Baseball Stadium. Friends and families can purchase four-packs that include four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for $25.

RGV Vipers vs Oklahoma City Blue, Saturday 7pm, State Farm Arena. Last game of the regular season!

Determined To Defeat, Saturday 8:30pm, Yerberia Cultura. With Reinforce, Worst Behavior and Lazer Hog. Free indoor show, all ages.

Strike Out Hunger, Sunday 12pm, UTRGV Baseball Stadium. Bring 5 non-perishable food items and recieve a free ticket for the game, helping out the Food Bank of the RGV in the process. UTRGV takes on CSU Bakersfield.

Sunday Speaker Series: Making a Living in Deep South Texas, Sunday 2-3pm, Museum of South Texas History (Edinburg). Museum volunteer Neil Cassady will present “It’s a Hard Luck Life: Making a Living in Deep South Texas – Coahuiltecans to Cowboys” March 25 at 2 p.m. Included in regular admission.

Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny, Sunday 7-8pm, La Plaza Mall.
